2 Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services. 

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer - SAP Security uses their in-depth knowledge of specific ICT security models to provide expert advice on the creation and operational maintenance of system roles, access authorisations, and security profiles.

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer - SAP Security works under the broad direction of senior staff to deliver quality outcomes.  They exercise a considerable degree of independence, with decision-making substantially dependent on their high-level judgement and consideration of wider departmental implications.  In performing a technical leadership role, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer - SAP Security drives innovation, changes in workplace practices, and organises work in the context of competing priorities and strategic direction.

There is no on call work however, some tasks may need to be undertaken after business hours.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Creation and maintenance of SAP Security roles for Services Australia and our shared services agencies including NDIA and DVA

• Monitoring and development of SAP IDM

• Monitoring of development of SAP GRC

• Monitoring and development of SAP HANA security role

• Technical knowledge for any production SAP Security issues
