  • Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs that translate user needs into functional solutions
  • Support the implementation of designs by working closely with developers throughout the development process
  • Contribute to improving the overall user experience of the agency’s digital service

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply user-centred design principles and methodologies to all design work
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) and are inclusive of all users
  • Collaborate with developers, service designers and data specialists to deliver cohesive digital experiences
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to establishing design standards and patterns
  • Support the team in meeting Digital Service Standard requirements through good design practice

Criteria

Essential criteria

  1. Demonstrated experience in UX and UI design for digital products, including websites, dashboards or web applications

  3. Proficiency in Figma for creating wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs
  4. Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) and inclusive design principles
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with developers and other team members, with strong communication skills and attention to detail
